To note

Island is split in Capri and Anacapri. Capri is where the main town is. Anacapri is quieter but worth a visit for some of the main island sights (Grotta Azzura, Villa San Michele, Gardens of Augustus)
I would recommend booking tables in advance for restaurants / bars and beds for the beach
Beaches are rocky – don’t expect sand
Wear comfortable shoes but dress code is quite elegant (Italians know how to do evening wear and make it look casual and classy at the same time)
Should check out the funicular – it’s quite the experience

Da Paolino – the famous lemon garden restaurant

Villa Verde – classic and constantly good; get a table outside

Aurora – pizza and a lot more

Il Giardino di Savardino - literally a restaurant in an orange garden of this old guy, typical Italian place, home made pasta, everything taken fresh from the garden. It's a 10-15 min walk from the main square through some cute narrow roads, into the hills

Kukai IKI Capri sushi

Buoncore – best gelato, close to piazzetta

Go to end of Via Tragara for a lemon granita served by Mari – you’ll see the kiosk

Mr Billy’s - only late night after going out if you’re hungry
